ALL ABOARD ! --------------------------------------- Looking west towards the East Portal of the tunnel, with numerous lift trucks present and a now stagnant drainage canal on the left Here we go... First, concrete was sprayed on the interior of the tunnel. Next, a yellow liner was applied, then short length metal rods were added in specific intervals. Long steel rods running lengthwise were then secured to those short length rods in order to secure the metallic mesh panels in place. Finally, I'm guessing, will be either a layer of sprayed concrete or tile. What a project !!!
